The citadel of Arras is a unique site in France. Built by Vauban in the 17th century, it retains an exceptional heritage from its 3 centuries of military history. Demilitarized and included on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2008, it is today a “small town within a city” rich in remarkable historic buildings, green walking paths and leisure activities.
