Despite the destruction of the Death Star, the Empire maintains its hold on the galaxy, and relentlessly continues its fight against the Rebel Alliance. Based on the icy planet of Hoth, the rebels come under attack from Imperial troops. Having managed to escape, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca and C-3P0 head towards Bespin, the cloud city governed by Lando Calrissian, Han's former companion. Following the instructions of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker goes to the Dagobah system, a swampy planet where he must receive teaching from the last Jedi master, Yoda. Learning of the arrest of his companions by Darth Vader's stormtroopers after Lando's betrayal, Luke decides to interrupt his training to rescue his friends and face the dark Sith lord...
