Jeanne D'Arc

Joan of Arc is the story of a passion: that of a daughter of the earth who grows up on the borders of her country with fire and blood, and of Charles, Prince in exile, son of a king madman and a queen who became the whore of the palace. Inflamed by her imagination and by the childish passion she has for the reclusive young monarch, Jeanne is convinced that Charles is the key to the pacification of the country and that he represents the only hope for the crown. Armed with her insane determination and her thirst for the absolute, Jeanne will walk towards Charles and put the wildest dreams in his head. Him whose weakness was to believe that he could do nothing. Her strength is to believe that she can do anything. Joan will in turn free herself from the authority of her father, the princes and the church. Throughout his fight, his quest for the absolute will become a quest for freedom.
