Antoine Beretto, a former gangster, became a shipowner on the Côte d'Azur. One day, two former accomplices visit him. They asked him for a boat to Italy as well as a loan of four million francs, a sum which he could recover from Léonard Michalon. However, the latter, like a complete imbecile, incurred the wrath of the "Colonel", a British soldier at the head of a gang. Antoine and his friend Jeff will then have to, despite themselves, protect Michalon in order to recover the money.
