The Nagoya TV Tower is a 180 meter high structure built in 1954 reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower. It is the oldest tower of its kind in Japan, built even before the famous Tokyo TV tower.
Located near Sakae metro station, this 180-meter illuminated tower is pleasant to observe but its main interest is to offer you a superb 360° view of the city of Nagoya, day and night. To access it you will often have to wait a little, the tower is in fact a very popular place in Nagoya to admire the view with friends or as a couple, and events are regularly organized there.
