After an adolescence marked by stays in a hostel, Léon, 19, returns home to take care of his alcoholic mother and get to grips with his new adult life. Frustrated by a life without real prospects, he took refuge in boxing. He then meets the charming and rebellious Twiggy, who squats in an abandoned house to escape her family's influence. When riots between law enforcement and protesters begin to break out in his neighborhood, Léon must choose between joining the fight with his friends or a new life with Twiggy.
